Louise Condon Realty has renewed its support for VNA Care, a nonprofit visiting nurse association, as the Inspired Leader Sponsor of the 11th annual Evening Under the Stars.

The May 23 benefit at the MIT Endicott Mansion, Dedham, raises crucial funds for home-based health care services, including specialized care for patients at the end of life and their loved ones and visiting nurse services for those recovering from illness or injury.

“I’ve personally seen the impact VNA Care’s nurses and clinicians have on people’s lives,” said Louise Condon. “They bring hope when patients and their loved ones need it most. It’s so important that we support this important organization that we all rely on.”

Gail Nannini, an agent with Louise Condon Realty and an Advocate Sponsor of the event, serves with Condon on the Cabinet. She added, “VNA Care is helping people with very complex conditions remain where they most want to be – in the comfort and safety of their own homes.”

Laura Wise, manager of fund development for VNA Care, said, “Our nonprofit was built by visionary community members and is sustained through philanthropy. We are so incredibly grateful for Louise and Gail’s leadership and charitable support that’s helping our frontline nurses provide the exceptional healthcare that people need and deserve.”

In addition to patient care, this annual fundraiser also supports VNA Care’s hospice volunteer program. Lindy Hayden-Queeno, hospice volunteer coordinator, said, “I have a favorite quote on my office door, ‘Volunteers do not necessarily have the time…they have the heart!’ We have 116 huge hearts in our hospice volunteer program.”

Evening Under the Stars kicks off at 6 pm May 23 on the Terrace of the Endicott Mansion, overlooking sweeping gardens, and features delicious food and spectacular entertainment with a special guest performance by Shalyah Fearing.
