Mary Chapel: Dedham Resident, Member of Literacy Volunteers of America

Mary R. (Kohut) Chapel, of Dedham, passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2014, according to her obituary. 

A member of the Professional Secretaries International and Literacy Volunteers of America, she was also a volunteer for the Boy Scouts of America and a retired employee of Sun Life Insurance in Wellesley. 

A funeral will take place from the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., in Dedham on Thursday, May 8 at 8 a.m., followed by a funeral mass at St. Mary Church in Dedham at 9 a.m. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday, May 7 from 4-8 p.m. Interment will be at Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham.
