Massachusetts Snow Storm: Dedham's Weekend Forecast

Snow - lots of it - could be in store for the whole Northeast if a weekend storm realizes its full potential.

DEDHAM, MA—If a couple inches of snow and sub-zero windchills haven’t convinced you that the balmy beginning to winter is behind us, just wait until this weekend.

The National Weather Service says there is potential for a winter storm that could blanket much of the Northeast - including Massachusetts - with the majority of the snow coming on Saturday.

Details such as how much snow and exactly when it would fall are still unknown; the storm could pass by the area relatively harmlessly. But weather models are showing the possibility for significant snowfall.

According to Dedham’s most recent forecast from Weather.com, approximately one to three inches of snow is projected to fall during the day on Saturday. The weather will charge full steam ahead on Saturday Night as five to eight inches of snow are projected to fall.

Temperatures are likely to range between 22 and 32 degrees on Saturday with winds blowing at speeds between 15 and 30 miles per hour.

Saturday’s snow will fade off into Sunday, but cloudy skies are projected to remain.
