NCW Wrestling Returns to Dedham August 26th!

DEDHAM— On Friday night August 26th Northeast Championship Wrestling’s 2022 Season continues when NCW returns to the Jacob Jones VFW Post in Dedham, Massachusetts (84 Eastern Avenue) for the biggest night of the summer, the NCW 2022 BIG CITY RUMBLE!

Doors open at 7pm with a 7:30pm bell time. General admission tickets are only $10 each with VIP ticketing available for only $20 each including reserved ‘pick your own’ seating, an event poster, and a food voucher good towards one Walking Taco or two slices of pizza. Online tickets can be purchased at theNCW.com/tickets with general admission available at the door the night of the event.

Paying tribute to the historic WWE Royal Rumble the NCW Big City Rumble Match originated on September 30th, 2000 and has evolved into becoming one of NCW’s premiere contests featuring thirty of NCW’s top stars competing in the over-the-top rope battle of attrition with the winner becoming the #1 Contender to the NCW Championship. The winner of the 2022 Rumble will challenge for the Heavyweight Title December 2nd at the 2022 Season finale of NCW WrestleFest XVII! This year’s crop of entries include the 2021 Big City Rumble winner THE LUMBERJAKE, the only man to win the Rumble Match on three separate occasions in 2014, 2015, and finally in 2021. The original 2000 winner “THE BADASS OF BROADWAY” TIM KILGORE has also thrown his hat into the fray August 26th in Dedham while the 2019 winner “THE VICTORIOUS” BRETT RYAN GOSSELIN has also promised to do whatever he can to win the Rumble and take back his NCW Heavyweight Championship.

The Heavyweight Championship will also be defended at the Big City Rumble when the NCW Champion “WORLD CLASS” CHANNING THOMAS make his first title defense as Champion after winning it at NCW’s 25 Year REUNION from BRG when he defends the title against former NCW Champion OSIRUS, a man who has been stalking the Heavyweight Title ever since he returned to NCW and has patiently waited for his opportunity at the gold, ready to take his final form as the new Champion of NCW.

NCW Women’s Champion AVA EVERETT returns to the scene of the crime August 26th in Dedham when she battles the former Women’s Champion LITTLE MEAN KATHLEEN, the ferocious challenger looking to regain the title stolen from her by Ava at REUNION after Everett used a steel chain to take the coveted Championship. The reigning NCW New England Champion and Interim NCW President DALLAS MCCARTHY has also promised to defend the New England Title at the Big City Rumble after ensuring perennial thorn “RIOT” KELLAN THOMAS is nowhere to be seen, but as McCarthy does whatever he can to hold onto the title the manager-turned-champion may have finally bitten off more than he can chew at the Rumble.
