"We want our guests to feel that we not only took great care of them but that we know their name," co-owner Esther DeQuattro said.

DEDHAM, MA — A new Italian restaurant at Legacy Place is opening its doors Monday night.

IL Massimo, the same ownership as Providence, RI's Massimo Ristorante, is coming to Dedham and promises authentic, seasonal Italian dishes both from Massimo's original menu, as well as new choices unique to Il Massimo.

Outside of the food, the restaurant's co-owner, Esther DeQuattro said she wants to bring a warm and friendly atmosphere to Legacy Place.

“Our goal is to provide more than a great meal and a great beverage as we believe in providing an exceptional experience," DeQuattro said. "We want our guests to feel that we not only took great care of them but that we know their name, their preferred table, their favorite drink and everything in between.”

Head chef Jeff Burgess will debut new dishes inspired by his travels throughout Italy and southern Europe. One dish Burgess created specifically for the Dedham location is "Lasagna Bianca con Besciamella." The dish is essentially a white lasagna made with sage béchamel, guanciale and pecorino cheese.
