Norfolk County Registry of Deeds to Hold Holiday Food Drive

Norfolk County Register of Deeds William P. O’Donnell announced this week that the Registry of Deeds will hold its annual food drive starting Tuesday, Nov. 17 until Friday, Jan. 2, 2015.

As part of the drive, individuals can drop off non-perishable food items to the Registry of Deeds building at 649 High St. in Dedham. A donation bin will be set up in the lobby Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Suggested donations include canned goods, breakfast cereals, pasta, sauces, toiletries and paper products.

“Many Norfolk County residents continue to struggle as we head into the winter and holiday months,” O’Donnell said in a statement. “Working together to support local families in need is still important, and we are always happy to do our part to support local food pantries through our annual holiday food drive.”
