Rhode Island's Best Restaurant Coming To Dedham

DEDHAM, MA — A Federal Hill restaurant which is concerned to be one of the best in Rhode Island is coming to Dedham.

Legacy Place announced Tuesday that Il Massimo, which is known for their Rhode Island restaurant, will open a new location at the lifestyle center in Dedham.

“IL Massimo is providing a fresh perspective on the classic trattoria. Their blend of old world tradition with a focus on seasonal ingredients is Italian dining at its finest. They’ve built an incredible legacy in Providence, one we’re thrilled to continue among Legacy Place’s diverse dining offerings,” Whitney MacLeod, General Manager of Legacy Place, said in a release.

The menu will include signature Italian dishes such as spaghettoni alla carbonara with guanciale and farm fresh egg, pesce al guazzetto that includes local fish with little neck clams in a tomato sea broth, and the house-aged rib-eye Fiorentina.

The restaurant recently won two awards from Rhode Island Monthly's for best restaurant and best lunch in Providence. They also won TripAdvisor's Award of Excellence.

IL Massimo is scheduled to open by the end of the year and will be located next to Salon Capri.
