In support of Jon Briggs, Parks and Recreation Commission

Jonathan Briggs has an expansive vision and a track record of supporting all members of our communtiy

I write in support of Jonathan Brigg's candidacy for re-election to Dedham Parks and Recreation Commission. Jon has served the town of Dedham in various ways over many years, and so many citizens have benefitted from his dedication and work.

Per the town charter, the Parks and Recreation Commission is charged with considering the needs of all age groups in the development of programs. Jon understands the assignment. He has opened up access to the beautiful Charles River for all residents through his years of work on the Dedham Water Trails. He has been instrumental in making sure we have a place to play pickleball, a sport enjoyed by all ages, and, he remains a strong steward of our athletic fields and youth programs.

I had the pleasure of serving with Jon for several years on the Sustainability Advisory Committee and I witnessed first-hand his energy, ideas and ability to forge partnerships across boards and committees for the greater good of our town. I ask my Dedham neighbors to join me in voting for Jonathan Briggs so that he can continue to enrich our community.
