Where To Recycle Your Christmas Tree In Dedham

DEDHAM, MA — Holiday cleanup doesn't have to be a holiday headache.

Dedham's Department of Public Works will be collecting extra recycling. The week of Dec. 27 and the week of Jan. 6 additional recycling will be collected on your regular recycling day. For these two weeks only, cardboard, paper and other recyclables will be picked up outside your carts.

Recyclables can be put in open barrels, paper bags or boxes to accommodate the overflow from the holidays.

The town is reminding residents that polystyrene and plastic bags of any kind are not recyclable in single stream curbside collection. Any additional containers with trash in it will not be picked up.
