Woman Struck And Killed By Car On Route 109 In Dedham

Dedham police have identified the woman as 63-year-old Marguerite Scanlon, of Watertown.

DEDHAM, MA — A woman was killed after she was struck by a car on Route 109 Monday night in Dedham, police say.

Police officers responded to the scene shortly before 5:30 p.m. near 204 Bridge St.

When first responders arrived, they say they found the woman still alive but suffering from serious injuries.

Marguerite Scanlon, 63, of Watertown, was then pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the car involved in the crash stayed at the scene and cooperated, Dedham police say.
