What's Open, What's Closed on Labor Day in Dover and Sherborn

The official end to summer is upon us with Labor Day fast approaching.

Here’s what’s open and what’s closed on Labor Day, and don’t forget - with the Monday holiday, trash and recycling will be delayed a day.

Town Hall and all town offices are closed Monday. This includes the Senior Center and the Public Library. All schools, both public and private, are closed today, as well.

All federal and state offices are also closed today. This includes the Post Office, as well as the State Department of Emergency Management and other state public health offices.

Here is some additional information on what is open and closed on Labor Day:

• Banks - All banks are closed on Labor Day.
• Retail - Retail stores in town are open regular hours at the owner’s discretion.
• Bars, Restaurants - All are open regular hours at the owner’s discretion.
