Southeast MA Weather: Heavy Rain, T-Storms

Heavy rain and thunderstorms will hit the region.

Southeastern Massachusetts will get drenched Wednesday and Thursday and there’s a chance of the first thunderstorms of the year for the region.

Heavy rain is expected, with 40 mph wind gusts. Thunderstorms are possible Thursday, when temperatures will rise to 60 degrees.

Here’s the latest forecast:

Wednesday: Rain and 40 mph wind gusts. 45 degrees, rising to 50 after midnight. Thunderstorms also possible after midnight.
Thursday: Rain and possibly an afternoon thunderstorm. 40 mph wind gusts. High 60, low 36.

Things will clear up heading into the weekend.
