Two Injured In Early Morning Falmouth Crash

Police: a driver and passenger were injured when a truck went through a stop sign and hit their car Friday morning.

FALMOUTH, MA — Two people were injured in a two-car crash in Falmouth Friday morning.

Police said the collision happened just before 6 a.m. at the intersection of Clark Street and John Parker Road. A 2007 GMC Canyon went through the stop sign and hit a 2010 Kia Sportage driving down John Parker Road, police said.

The driver and passenger of the Kia were taken to a hospital off Cape Cod with injuries. Police said the passenger was trapped and had to be extricated by emergency crews.

The driver of the GMC, which rolled over in the crash, was uninjured. Police identified him as a licensed juvenile and cited him for failure to stop at a stop sign.
