Anna Kathleen Trustey: Beloved Daughter, Sister and Friend

Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, Aug. 4 at Shore Country Day School in Beverly.

Anna Kathleen Trustey, 18, died July 29, 2015, in a plane crash that also claimed the life of her father, Joseph Trustey.

Trustey was an accomplished student-athlete who was preparing to captain her varsity soccer and lacrosse teams during her senior year at Brooks School in North Andover. She had also been elected by her peers and teachers as a prefect, the highest student leadership position at the school.

She attended Hamilton-Wenham Public Schools and was a graduate of Shore Country Day School.

“[Anna] could turn a quiet evening into a comedy showcase with her funny impressions, singing, dancing and humor,” according to her obituary on the Campbell Funeral Home website. “Anna was loved by her many friends and lit up a room with her radiant smile. Her quick wit entertained all who knew her and her kind spirit will be dearly missed.”

She is survived by her mother, Kristine, and two sisters, Claire and Caroline, along with numerous other family members. She was preceded in death by her brother, A.J. Trustey.

Visiting hours will begin at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 4 and conclude with a prayer service at 8 p.m. at Shore Country Day School in Beverly. A memorial mass will be held Wednesday, Aug. 5, at 10 a.m. at the AJ Gordon Memorial Chapel at Gordon College in Wenham. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Anna’s memory to the Anna Trustey Memorial Fund, Brooks School, 1160 Great Pond Road, North Andover, MA 01845.
