Boys', Girls' Tennis Teams Win Season Openers

In other sports news, the girls' lacrosse team came up short against Lynnfield.

Hamilton, MA - Both the Boys' and Girls' high school tennis teams got off to a good start for the spring season on Monday.

The girls' team defeated Amesbury by a 4-1 score at Pingree Park on Monday.

The boys' team won their opener today against Amesbury 3-2. Winning for the Generals was #3 Singles Trevor Jones 6-1, 6-1, First doubles of Billy Whelan and Nick McLane 6-3, 6-1, and second doubles Hunter Ascolillo and Max Forsey 6-2, 6-1.

In other sports news, Hamilton-Wenham played Lynnfield Monday at Hamilton-Wenham in girls' lacrosse. Lynnfield won with a final score of 8-6. Goal scorers: Kayla Frain (2 goals) Grace Monohan (1 goal) Mazey Loomis (1 goal), Tessa Landon (1 goal), Sophie Frain (1 goal).

The Generals will play Manchester-Essex for their home opener on Wednesday.
