August 15th, 5 to 7 PM, Meeting room, Rowley Public Library, group discussion on:
· Defining a heart horse.
· Creating equine portraits that touch your heart
· How to capture images with your phone

The vibrant new play explores the fierceness, fragility, and sometimes fanciful nature of female friendship and how the dynamic bond of three friends evolves over a decade. When Phoebe is faced with a life-altering circumstance, her best friends Emma and Sophia call an emergency meeting at their secret fountain. Eager to find a solution, the friends share private information and quickly realize their connections are not as strong as they appear on surface level. Fast forward to leaving for college, the friends make promises to stay in touch despite being thousands of miles apart. Then, a decade later, they reconnect after a shocking event and are faced with a choice: do they want to hold on to their friendship or move on? “Girl code” gets broken, secrets are revealed, and the fountain proves to be more powerful and magical than anyone could have predicted. The comedy provides a fresh take on the malleable nature of friendships and the dynamic shifts relationships face.

Experience the lively string and brass ensembles as they bring Gershwin classics to life, including themes from favorites like "I’ve Got Rhythm" and "Rhapsody in Blue"—right in the very hall where Gershwin himself once performed. Enjoy an evening filled with Broadway and jazz standards from the Gershwins and other beloved composers, sure to have you tapping your toes long after the final note.&nbsp;

 Firebird Pops Orchestra: Gershwin & All That Jazz at Hammond Castle Museum

The 15th annual Flying Horse Outdoor Sculpture Exhibit will feature more than 70 pieces in all styles and made from a variety of materials. The event is free and open to the public seven days a week from dawn until dusk, from Saturday, September 14 until Sunday, December 1. Child and dog friendly. Full-color catalogs are available in a mailbox near the "brain sculpture at the head of the entrance driveway.&nbsp;
Be sure to see the full size horse created by Ecuadoran sculptor Jose Criollo.&nbsp;
The public is also invited to a reception with the artists on Sunday, September 29 when Boston Globe art critic and exhibit Honorary Chair Murray Whyte will speak.&nbsp;
