Don't Miss the Next Tuesday Tasting!

With Cookiefest under their belts, the Hamilton-Wenham Librarians are seeking to engage the community in monthly food events.

It was a small crowd Tuesday at the Hamilton-Wenham Public Library Cookiefest.

Rebecca Shea, a Adult Services Librarian, told Patch, "Sadly, the Cookiefest encountered underwhelming attendance. We’re a little bummed out as the display downstairs created a lot of buzz and attention and required restocking. Who doesn’t want an excuse to eat cookies and talk recipes at 11:00 AM?"

But never fear. This small library is teeming with activity, and the next Tuesday Tasting is already set for Tuesday, Jan. 10 at 11:00 AM. True to the cold New England weather, next month's theme will fittingly be stews and soups! So get out your mom's old family recipes, and head down to the library to join other community members for a late morning snack and chat.
