HAMILTON, MA — Hamilton police are reminding residents to keep their dogs on a leash when they're outside. Police said they've received several calls about loose dogs in town and want to remind residents there are only certain areas where dogs can be leash-less.

Dogs can run free on owners properties or on other people's properties with the owner's consent. They are also allowed on a leash in the Myopia Schooling Field behind the park. Dogs are not allowed to run loose in Patton Park.

The town's bylaws can be found online.
