Hamilton-Wenham Volleyball, Soccer Teams Make MIAA Tournament

Check out the details for when each of these Generals teams will head into tournament play.

A number of Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School teams are headed into MIAA tournament play this week.

The volleyball team as well as both the girls’ and boys’ soccer teams will open tournament play this week. Check out the details for each below:

Volleyball

Hamilton-Wenham (11) will play Tewksbury (6) in the first round of North Division 2 state tournament on Friday, Nov. 6 at Tewksbury. The time of the match is to be determined.

Hamilton-Wenham volleyball finished the season 12-6.

Girls’ soccer

The girls’ soccer team earned a No. 1 seed with a 17-0-1 record and will face No. 16 Watertown on Thursday, Nov. 5

The match will take place at Hamilton-Wenham at 2p.m.

Boys’ soccer

The boys’ soccer team also had an excellent season, earning a No. 2 seed in the MIAA tournament and a first-round bye.

The boys’ first tournament opponent will be the winner of the Nov. 5 match between Bishop Fenwick (7) and St. Joseph’s Prep (10).

The second round game is scheduled for Nov. 8 at 2 p.m. at Hamilton-Wenham.
