Patricia A. (Sullivan) Sedgwick: Drum Corp Member, Mother, Wife

A funeral mass is scheduled Thursday and visitation will be held Wednesday.

Patricia A. (Sullivan) Sedgwick, 76, of Hamilton, beloved wife of Paul H. Sedgwick, died Thursday, April 2, 2015 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers surrounded by her family. Born in Freeport, NY; on Aug. 6, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Hannah (Cronin) Sullivan. Patricia grew up in Beverly, and she was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School, and Burdett College. She was a long time member of the St. Mary’s Cardinals Drum Corp. Patricia worked as a Secretary for Maestranzi Brothers in Beverly for 22 years before retiring in 2002. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend, who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her husband with whom she shared 53 years of marriage, she is survived by her three sons: Paul D. Sedgwick and his wife, Toby, of Tewksbury; Mark S. Sedgwick and his wife, Michelle, of Marblehead; David P. Sedgwick and his wife, Alice, of Georgetown, as well as her eight grandchildren, Hannah, Kylie, Meghan, Collin, Patrick, Garrett, Elsa and Cara.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Church of St. Paul, 50 Union St. Hamilton, Thursday, April 9, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours at the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly, Wednesday, April 8 from 4 p.m.- 7 p.m.. Burial will be in Hamilton Cemetery.
