A Veteran’s Day Concert with David Polansky

The Community House welcomes David Polansky for a Music Through the Decades concert on Saturday, November 11 @ 2pm. This one man performance will showcase popular American from 1895 through 1960, including music from the Great War and World War II. The concert is part of The Community House’s participation in WWI Centennial Commemorative Celebration – April 6, 2017-2019. In 2013, the U.S. WWI Centennial Commission was created with the mission to execute programs to commemorate America’s involvement in the Great War and bring attention to the WWI memorials across the country, such as The Community House.

David Polansky is an accomplished trumpet player who is in constant demand throughout the New England area. Over the years, he has worked with Arthur Fiedler, Sandler and Young, Phyllis Diller, Henny Youngman, Ray Bolger and others. Travel with David on this musical tour through the decades and experience some of America’s defining music.

Dean Pedersen, retired U.S. Navy chaplain of Wenham, will open the concert honoring and recognizing all of our military Veterans’ service and sacrifice. Reverend Pedersen will close the concert with a bell ringing and reading of names ceremony.
