Boston Scientific Restructuring, Making Reductions, Also Adding

MARLBOROUGH, MA—Biotech giant Boston Scientific, based in Marlborough, is restructuring its operation and it will result in $150 million in annual cuts, according to reports.

The medical device maker is planning to start cutting costs in 2019, which will be complete by the end of 2021, and will result in "limited headcount reductions" but also some new jobs in "areas of growth," reports the Worcester Business Journal.

The estimated cost of the restructuring is between $200 and $300 million.
