Marlborough Vietnamese Restaurant Moving, New Concept Coming

The move will mean a new restaurant specializing in katsu — the only restaurant focusing on the Japanese dish around.

An Nam Vietnamese Grill will relocate to a new space in the same East Main Street shopping plaza as the owners work to open a new concept called Bao Bap.

MARLBOROUGH, MA — One of the region's best Vietnamese restaurants is moving — but not far.

The owners of An Nam Vietnamese Grill said this week they will move the restaurant just a few doors down in the Post Road Plaza at 222 East Main St. The move is to make way for a new concept restaurant that will be a first for Marlborough by the same owners: Bao Bap.

"Bao Bap is a katsu restaurant specializing in breaded fried chicken and curry, hope to serve you guys soon," the owners said in a social media post this week.

An Nam will continue to operate in its current location until the day of the move to the new spot next door to Savers. A sign went up for the Bao Bap restaurant this week.

The owners have not announced an exact opening date for either Bao Bap or the new An Nam location.
