Ramps Closures Back In Marlborough At I-495, I-290
The new round of exit ramp closures in Marlborough and Hudson will last through Friday morning.
MARLBOROUGH, MA — An ongoing construction project at the I-290 and I-495 intersection will bring another round of exit ramps closures this week, according to MassDOT.
The closures will last from 11 p.m. each night through Thursday until 5 a.m. the next day, which means this week's closures could run into holiday traffic. MassDOT contractors have been repairing bridges along the crucial interchange since the end of the summer.
The round of ramp closures from Dec. 19 to Dec. 23 and detours are as follows, according to MassDOT:

- When the I-495 southbound exit 65B ramp to I-290 westbound is closed, traffic will be directed to use exit 63A (Route 20 eastbound) and reverse direction onto I-495 northbound from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.
- When the I-290 westbound exit 32A ramp to I-495 southbound is closed, traffic will be directed to use exit 30A (Hudson Street) and reverse direction onto I-290 eastbound from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.
