Longtime Medford Fire Department Deputy Retires

Scott Graham retired on Sunday more than 35 years after he joined the Medford Fire Department.

MEDFORD, MA — The Medford Fire Department noted the retirement of Deputy Scott Graham over the weekend more than 35 years after his initial appointment as a member of the department, the Medford Firefighters Local 1032 union announced.

Graham retired effective at 8 a.m. on Sunday. He was first appointed in 1987, as noted by Local 1032, rising to the rank of deputy in early 2007.

“Deputy Graham has been a dedicated member of the department providing outstanding service to the citizens of Medford,” Local 1032 said in a statement on social media. “He received numerous commendations over his career and served as the department’s systems administrator. We wish Scotty a long and healthy retirement.”
