Medford Annual Census Forms Due Soon

Residents have 10 days to complete and return their annual local census after they receive it in the mail.

MEDFORD, MA — Medford officials urged residents to complete their 2023 annual census this week after announcing that census forms will be arriving in mailboxes soon.

Officials on Tuesday said forms should land in mailboxes within the next week. Residents have 10 days after they receive their form to fill it out and return it.

Those who don’t return their census will risk being removed from the voter rolls, officials said.

An annual process, Medford’s annual census aims to help keep city demographic and residency data up to date. City officials this week said the census and its collected data impact items ranging from city funding from the state and federal government to the city government’s understanding of local demographics in Medford.

Residents can return their census via mail or by dropping their form off at City Hall. Residents dropping their form off can bring their form inside to Room 102 in City Hall or drop their form in the city’s white drive-by box next to City Hall.
