REVERE, MA — Grab your last sandwich while you still can - one of the North Shore's most beloved roast beef shops is shutting down after more than 40 years in operation.

The news of Beachmont Roast Beef's closure was first reported by Boston Restaurant Talk, after being mentioned by Greg Hill from WEEI while on the air last week.

After first opening in 1970, Beachmont Roast Beef has gained a cult following of customers who have traveled near and far to get a taste of their sandwiches, including the "three-way" a roast beef sandwich with cheese, sauce, and mayonnaise.
