I've been thinking a lot about food lately. For the last few months I've been struggling with a gastrointestinal issue — inflammation in my intestine that is thankfully harmless and should resolve itself, but in the meantime has kept me from eating pretty much anything that tastes good.

So I've been fantasizing about what I want to eat when I get back to business. I came up with a few of my favorite things to eat around Melrose, in no particular order:
