MELROSE, MA — Melrose community members will have a unique chance at widespread yard sale deals early next month when the annual Melrose City-Wide Yard Sale makes its return for the first time since 2019.

The event will take place rain or shine on Oct. 8 between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. The Friends of the Milano Center is organizing the yard sale, coordinating roughly 50 simultaneous individual yard sales throughout Melrose.

The City-Wide Yard Sale program had previously been on hold in 2020 and 2021 due to COVID-19, as noted in a city announcement on Monday.
