The Melrose Farmers’ Market is excited to announce a $10,000 donation from Garden Remedies.

The donation is a result of a continuous partnership between the two organizations and a shared interest in locally grown products. “The pandemic has been a double blow to the Market, as we see more SNAP shoppers, but a reduced revenue from vendor fees and fundraising events due to capacity limitations” said Market Board President, Ali DiMatteo. “This generous donation will allow us to focus on doing the work we do, keeping staff intact to help build community and combat food insecurity”. The Market intends to open a more traditional market this June with additional vendors and music.
