Hang Tight, Melrose: Schools Reopening Thursday

Here's an update on where things stand following another nor'easter.

MELROSE, MA — Things are getting back to normal in Melrose following another nor'easter. DPW is done for Wednesday, but will start again Thursday with an eye toward clearing corners, school areas, and high-pedestrian traffic areas.

"Tomorrow night we will remove snow from parking lots and sidewalks in business areas, including parts of Main Street, West Wyoming Avenue, West Emerson Street, and Franklin Street. Please encourage school children to use the sidewalk routes that have been plowed," the Mayor's blog said.

Meanwhile, schools will be back open Thursday. The Library was open Wednesday.
