Kevin Barry Pipes & Drums North American Champions!

On August 4th, the Melrose-based Kevin Barry Pipes and Drums band made the long journey to Ontario Canada to compete in the Glengarry Highland Games. The group placed first out of 17 bands in a highly contested division, awarding them the title of North American Champions. Established in 1921, Kevin Barry Pipes and Drums has enjoyed much success in recent years, including wins at major regional competitions. The band is a non-profit organization and seeks to expand the local piping and drumming community. The group is constantly accepting motivated individuals to join their ranks.
