Major Snowstorm in Melrose's Forecast This Weekend

A snowstorm coming in Sunday night into Monday is set to bring snow to the area on the first day of Spring.

MELROSE, MA - Snow is moving in this weekend, but how much is actually going to fall? Don't shoot the messenger, but it looks like it could be a lot more than originally thought.

The first day of spring storm set to start late Sunday afternoon and continue into Monday morning could bring several inches of snow to the region, depending on which track the storm takes.

There are three different tracks to this storm and of the three the National Weather Service says it's most likely Massachusetts will see six to nine inches of snow before it's all over.

The NWS doesn't currently have a snow accumulation total for Melrose, but the latest prediction maps indicate that we could be seeing approximately eight inches of snow during that time.
