Melrose Rec Department Fall Registration Opens Wednesday

MELROSE, MA — Registration will open on Wednesday morning at 9 a.m. for this year’s slate of Melrose Recreation department programs.

The department released its fall program brochure earlier this week. Interested community members can now plan to register online through the Melrose Recreation website.

This year’s fall recreation programs are as follows:

• Melrose Athletics-Youth Lacrosse Clinic
• Middle School Basketball Skills & Drills.
• Melrose Youth Field Hockey
• Melrose Field Hockey Day!
• Middle School Cross Country
• Middle School Field Hockey
• Middle School Boys Basketball
• Middle School Girls Basketball
• Middle School Ice Hockey
• Safety at Home
• Babysitter’s Training
• Girls on the Run
• Men’s Fall Pick-up Soccer
• Women’s Fall Pick-up Soccer
• Men’s Over Thirty Fall Basketball League
• Women’s Pick-up Basketball
• 11th Annual Melrose Tennis Open

Backed by a series of community sponsors, the Recreation Department offers some scholarships for families that cannot afford the costs of department programs.
