Melrose Residents Asked To Take Pride 2023 Pre-Event Survey

The survey seeks to help create more inclusive LGBTQIA+ Pride events for the Melrose community.

This year, the city’s annual pride flag raising ceremony will take place on Thursday, June 1 at 6:30 p.m., and the Pride Celebration at the Beebe Estate will take place on Friday, June 9 at 5 p.m.

MELROSE, MA – Residents of Melrose are being asked to provide feedback on how to create more inclusive LGBTQIA+ Pride events for the community, officials announced on Wednesday.

The Human Rights Commission Pride 2023 Pre-Event Survey comes as a result of a partnership between the Melrose Human Rights Commission (MHRC) and the Office of Mayor Paul Brodeur.

Community members can take the survey online or complete a physical copy of the survey at the Milano Center, located at 201 West Foster St., or the Melrose Public Library, located at 263 West Foster St.

Completed surveys should be returned to Milano Center and library staff.

All responses will be archived per public records law and reviewed by the MHRC ahead of Pride Month.
