Melrose, Wakefield Hosting Booster Vaccine Clinic For Anyone 16+

The clinic is open to everyone eligible for a COVID-19 booster shot, and doses of Pfizer and Moderna will be administered.

MELROSE, MA — The Melrose and Wakefield Health Departments will host a COVID-19 booster vaccine clinic early next week.

Anyone eligible for a booster can get a dose of either the Pfizer or Moderna shot at the clinic, which will be held on Dec. 20 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Memorial Hall (590 Main St., Melrose).

Adults ages 18+ are eligible if they received their second dose of Pfizer or Moderna at least six months ago, or if they received the Johnson & Johnson vaccine at least two months ago. Children ages 16 and 17 can get boosted if they were given the Pfizer vaccine at least six months ago.
