Melrose Weather Forecast: Sloppy Week Ahead

MELROSE, MA—After what many would regard as a comfortable week, sloppy weather is in store for the first week of March.

According to the National Weather Service, Melrose is set for rain at the beginning of the week, and could be looking at light snow towards the end. While temperatures are set to remain on the warmer side, the skies will not be cooperating as much.

Here’s Melrose’s extended forecast, according to NWS:

Monday: A slight chance of showers before 2pm. Mostly cloudy, then gradual clearing during the afternoon, with a high near 55. Southwest wind 10 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 47. West wind around 6 mph becoming light and variable. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Wednesday: Showers likely, mainly before 3pm. Cloudy, with a high near 53. Chance of precipitation is 70%.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 36.

Friday: A chance of snow showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 32. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
