Melrose's Weather: From 60 Degrees to Snow

Snow is possible on Saturday, Sunday and Monday; after a week in which temperatures exceeded 60 degrees.

MELROSE, MA - Yes, you read that right. After some beautiful, warm, sunny weather, Melrose is expected to see some snow this weekend and on Monday.

After temperatures in the 60s Thursday and Friday, cool weather is moving in, along with the white stuff. Melrose is predicted to get around one to three inches of snow.

  • Saturday Night: rain is expected to last through Saturday night, changing to snow overnight. Temperatures are expected to approach 32 degrees.
  • Sunday: Snow likely, accumulation of less than one inch possible. Thunder might also be possible with winds exceeding 20 miles per hour.
  • Sunday Night: A chance of snow, mainly after 5am. Partly cloudy skies with temperatures in the low twenties. Little snow accumulation is possible.
  • Monday: Snow likely, mainly in the late morning. Temperatures below the freezing mark, with light winds.

More snow is in the forecast to start the week with early snow showers on Monday turning to steadier snow in the afternoon bringing another one to three inches. And even some more snow showers Monday night.
