MelroseWakefield Hospital named the 2024 recipients of the annual President’s Award at a ceremony held during National Hospital Week. Scholarships were awarded to three employees to support the development of their leadership skills.

The scholarship was established in 2018 in honor of former MelroseWakefield Hospital President and CEO Alan Macdonald to continue his spirit of leadership after his retirement. The award is given annually to employees who demonstrate innovative thinking and leadership potential. The scholarship funds can be used to advance professional skills through a class, conference or other opportunity designed to enhance qualifications. Recipients were selected based on their clarity of direction, personal drive and inspiration.

“We see the scholarship as an investment in our employees and a way to help them develop their potential,” said Roselyn Fisher, Executive Director of Donor Relations.
