Reach Leadership at Melrose High School to Host Open Mic Night

Reach Leadership at Melrose High School is proud to present the 2nd Annual Hope For The Holidays Open Mic Night, benefitting Family Reach Foundation! This fundraiser will specifically support their Hope For The Holidays campaign, ensuring families dealing with the financial burdens of a childhood cancer diagnosis can have an enjoyable holiday.

Come on down to VFW Post 2394 (14 Chipman Ave in Melrose) from 6-8:30 PM to check out some amazing music, talent and have a chance to win some raffle prizes: all for an amazing cause! Admission is $5 and all who attend are welcome to perform. Chips and drinks will be available for purchase. Every single penny will help families of a child with cancer enjoy their holiday season, by helping them obtain gifts and food that they otherwise could not afford.

ABOUT HOPE FOR THE HOLIDAYS: Cancer does not recognize holidays or special occasions. During the holiday season, when most families gather with loved ones to savor festive meals and exchange gifts, our families face the unthinkable. Struggling with the financial devastation of cancer, many are overwhelmed to discover they are unable to fulfill the wishes and needs of their children. This is a hard fact to swallow any day of the year, but it makes the holidays especially difficult. Through Hope for the Holidays, many families are able to have a happy holiday filled with presents and food that otherwise they would not be able to afford.
