A Unique Coffee Shop Is Headed For Main Street

Bitty & Beau's Coffee is run by people with developmental and intellectual disabilities. It'll be moving into the Diamici's building.

MELROSE, MA — A coffee shop run by people with developmental and intellectual disabilities is headed for downtown Melrose.

Bitty & Beau’s Coffee will move into 462 Main St., which has stood empty since Diamici's abruptly closed in Nov. 2019.

It would be the shop's first location in Massachusetts, according to its webite. The only locations listed are North Carolina, South Caroline, Georgia and Maryland.
