These Nearby Dunkin', Starbucks Locations Will Be Open Christmas Morning

MELROSE, MA — You wake up Christmas morning, open presents, maybe make some holiday flapjacks.

Then it's time for coffee. There's no shame in it, but you have to leave the family on Christmas morning. As long as you wake up before everyone else or wait until gifts are unwrapped, we think it's OK.

You tell everyone you'll be right back, but this Dunkin' is closed, that Starbucks is closed, and 45 minutes later you're behind three dozen people in a Peabody drive-thru.

Well here's our gift to you: Patch called all 29 Dunkin' and six Starbucks locations in Melrose, Malden, Stoneham, Wakefield and Saugus to figure out which were open Christmas morning.

It turns out, not many.

The following hours were provided by whoever picked up the phone, so you might want to double-check before heading out. Eight Dunkin' locations, including the 24-hour store on Route 1 North in Saugus, did not answer multiple calls.

Only one Starbucks is open Christmas, the one on Route 1 South in Saugus near the old Hilltop.

The Dunkin' locations are:
