MILFORD, MA — If you're a fan of the Milford Big Lots, you're in luck: the local store is likely not one of 315 set to close soon.

Big Lots in a July 31 financial filing said it would close 315 of its nearly 1,400 remaining locations. There are 23 in Massachusetts, and five are on the chopping block: Northampton, Ashland, Seekonk, West Springfield and Dennis Port.

Big Lots did not immediately release a full list of closing stories, but the company's website has banners announcing closures on webpages for individual stores. The closing stores are sales offering up to 20 percent off, according to the website.
