New Milford Restaurant Opening With Weekend Celebration

MILFORD, MA — A new restaurant will hold a grand opening celebration this weekend Milford at the newly renovated Turtle Tavern downtown.

Mozies Kitchen will be open daily from near noon to midnight serving pizza, calzones, burgers entrées — plus breakfast on Sundays. The grand opening celebration starts Friday and will include a raffle for prizes like free food and tickets to Southwick's Zoo.

The restaurant will also offer discounts on pizza and wings on Friday and Saturday, according to a social media post.

Like all other restaurants in the state, the Turtle Tavern had to shut down in March 2020 due to the pandemic. In the intervening months, the downtown Milford mainstay has undergone interior renovations and reopened at the end of August.
