Snow Will Cancel Milford Trash, Recycling Pickup

Milford residents who get trash and recycling picked up on Fridays will have to wait a day.

MILFORD, MA — The first real snowstorm this winter is already causing cancelations.

Trash and recycling pickup in Milford scheduled for Friday will be postponed, according to the town. Residents who get pick on Friday should leave trash and recycling out on Saturday by 7 a.m. instead.

Milford will be under a winter storm watch from Thursday night into Friday evening. Forecasts call for between 6 and 8 inches of snow falling at a rate of about 1 inch per hour. The snow should begin either late Thursday night or very early Friday morning.
