MILFORD, MA — A wife-and-husband team will take control at T.D.'s Pub along Water Street in Milford — a return to the bar's founding.

Dana Larson and his wife, Tricia, opened T.D.'s in 2007. The name comes from the first letters of their names. Tricia Larson died in 2008 after a battle with cancer.

At the June 13 Select Board meeting, T.D.'s licenses were transferred to a new operating team: Joan Rich, who has worked at the Medway VFW, New England Steak and Seafood, and the Coachman's Lounge in Bellingham; and seven-year TD's employee Matt Rich. Dana Larson will remain working at TD's as a manager.

Joan and Matt rich plan to keep TD's largely the same, including the four employees on staff. The couple does plan to make some changes to the menu, like introducing new lunch and dinner options, an attorney for the restaurant told the Select Board on June 13.

TD's was voted the best St. Patrick's Day bar in Milford in 2012 by Patch readers. The pub is open Tuesday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
