Driver In Car That Crashed Into Needham Home Summonsed For OUI

Two underage people were in the car with alcohol as well, according to police.

NEEDHAM, MA — What started as a joy ride for three young people in Needham ended in their car crashing into a home.

On Sept. 10, Needham police received a report of a car that crashed into a home near Webster Street and High Street. The driver was a 21-year-old Needham man. In the car was also a 15-year-old and 20-year-old boy.

The man was summonsed to court for OUI liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, marked lanes violation, open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle and 2 counts of procuring alcohol to minors.

The minors were summonsed for underage possession of alcohol.

The driver was taken to Beth Israel Needham to be checked.
