NEEDHAM, MA — The winter storm that hung around the area all day Tuesday left behind more snow than most people want, especially at this time of the year.

- Waltham - 20.5 inches as of 6:35 p.m. Tuesday
- Milton - 18.5 inches as of 6:58 a.m. Wednesday
- Westwood - 16.3 inches as of 3:10 p.m. Tuesday
- South Boston - 16.0 inches as of 9:52 p.m. Tuesday.
- Norwood - 11 inches as of 2 p.m. Tuesday
