Martin Luther King Day 2016: Windy Conditions in Needham Forecast

NEEDHAM, MA—As we celebrate the life of Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Jan. 18, we could also be welcoming cold and windy conditions to the area.

Sub-freezing temperatures and windy conditions are currently in the forecast for the area early on Monday morning. It would be wise to get out those hats and gloves in order to stay warm.

Needham’s forecast currently calls for a high of 27 degrees and partly sunny skies. Don’t let the skies fool you, because temperatures will fall as the day goes on. Northwest winds are expected to blow at speeds of up to 20 to 30 miles per hour.

Temperatures will fall into the lower twenties later in the day and will fall into the teens on Monday night.
