NBCUniversal Moving Boston Networks to Needham

NEEDHAM, MA — Needham is no longer a one-television network town.

NBCUniversal is moving forwards with plans to set up shop at the old General Dynamics building in the Needham Crossing office park, according to the Boston Globe. The move would put NBC Boston, NECN, Telemundo and Comcast Sportsnet New England all under one roof. Currently, NBC Boston, NECN, and Telemundo are in Newton while the CSN crew operates out of Burlington.

The four channels have 375 employees that would move into the Needham building, according to the Boston Globe.

Needham is home to WCVB Channel 5 and newspaper publisher Gatehouse Media has an office in town.
